IMPERFECT MIRRORS COLLECTION

PIERRE BLEUE

IMperfect Mirror – Pierre Bleue is a handmade floor-standing mirror anchored to a raw block of Belgian Bleue limestone. The stone base is preserved in its natural state, unpolished and uncorrected, allowing fossil inclusions, surface irregularities, and density variations to remain legible. The human intervention is equally visible: each element retains the marks of manual workmanship, without being concealed or standardized. A burnished iron structure supports the circular mirror, 50 cm (19.7 in) in diameter, with an oak wood back. The mirror is adjustable in six different heights, from 160 to 180 cm (63–71 in), and rotatable, allowing it to adapt to different spatial conditions. IMperfect Mirror shifts attention from form to essence, recognizing authenticity in both material and gesture as the object’s central value.
