IMPERFECT MIRRORS COLLECTION

NUVOLATO ETRUSCO

IMperfect Mirror – Nuvolato Etrusco is a floor-standing mirror handmade in every component, defined by a base of Nuvolato Etrusco marble preserved in the form in which it was found. The stone is neither modified nor refined: veins, natural fractures, and chromatic variations remain visible, expressing the material’s density and geological origin. A burnished iron structure supports the circular mirror, 50 cm (19.7 in) in diameter, with an oak wood back. The system is adjustable in six heights, from 160 to 180 cm (63–71 in), and rotatable. Marks of manual workmanship are intentionally left visible as a measure of authenticity. The stone base remains unaltered because its value lies in the material itself, not in a form imposed by human intervention.
