Full interior design commission. Montepulciano, Tuscany.

Salcheto Winehouse is a boutique hotel inside the Salcheto winery, in the hills of Montepulciano. A place built around environmental responsibility and the long time of wine.

The hotel was born from the restoration of a farmhouse. Manoteca designed the interiors — five suites and a common area. Tables that transform, beds made from stacks of Harmony romance novels, travel chests converted into horizontal wardrobes. Muted colours, wood bleached by time, cotton, linen.

Every object was chosen, built or modified for that precise place. Nothing foreign, nothing superfluous. The inside as an extension of the outside.
