TRICYCLE LAMP COLLECTION

IL FAUSTO

Found at an antique market in Maranello, Fausto is an original 1960s Italian iron tricycle reimagined as a traveling reading lamp and mobile library. It retains traces of its original blue paint and every mark of time, with the structure left intact. A long hand-bent iron arch supports an adjustable headlight, while a rear rack carries books and objects. A five-meter silk-covered cable allows the piece to move freely through a room.

A reference to Fausto Coppi, one of the greatest Italian cyclists of the mid-twentieth century.
