COFFEE TABLE

CMYK

CMYK is a coffee table that takes its name from the iconic chromatic diagram it reinterprets: three overlapping circles that generate secondary colors. Three circular planes of cyan, magenta and yellow glass are mounted at staggered heights on a black metal structure; the two lateral discs rotate, continuously modifying the composition as colors appear, change and dissolve.

Unlike most Manoteca works, this project does not start from a material but from the intention of making an abstract process touchable by hands. The structure is built by hand, its rings bent and welded without machines, mounted on slender legs uncertain as pencil marks, preserving something fragile and exquisitely human around a diagram conceived for perfection.

WIDTH 50/145 cm  19.7/57.1 in

DEPTH 50/94 cm  19.7/37 in

HEIGHT 45 cm  17.7 in

CMYK: three rotating glass discs on a black metal structure.

Rotation: the glass discs rotate, overlap and generate new colors.

Open configuration: three discs at maximum distance | 145 cm 57.1 in

Diagram configuration: cyan, magenta and yellow glass discs in the CMYK diagram position, generating green, orange and violet.

Planes diameter: 50 cm – 19.7 in.

Glasses: custom laminated extra-clear glass discs, designed to allow chromatic overlap when layered.

Possible configurations: open, closed, or anything in between.

Column configuration: three discs aligned vertically.

Column dimensions: H 45 cm 17.7 in × W 55 cm 21.7 in.

Structure: the glass discs can be removed and reassembled in different positions, shifting the chromatic balance.

Mechanism: 3 self-supporting structures held together by rotating pin legs.

Variant: by repositioning the glass discs, 6 different color configurations are possible.

Variant: overlapping with yellow on the top

Variant: overlapping with yellow in the middle.
