THE MARVEL TABLE

BOX SIR

Box Sir is a storage table built around a set of early-twentieth-century wooden crates, recovered in Levizzano Rangone from Mr. Luigi, a man who collects everything, and from whom nothing is easily parted.

Restored but never corrected, each crate differs in size, rarely true to square. The iron frame was bent by hand to follow their irregularities, welded in just three points, the minimum needed to hold without imposing. Every interior is lined with hand-stitched leather; every box repositioned freely, held by a concealed magnetic system.

Box Sir was conceived to change. In form, in height, in use, an ever-shifting landscape of surfaces, volumes, and crafted interiors.

Sold. Box Sir currently lives in Singapore.
