OLMO COLLECTION

OLMO G

Olmo G is a late nineteenth to early twentieth-century carpenter’s workbench in solid elm, preserved in its original structure and reimagined as a freestanding kitchen element.

Recovered from a closing workshop in Mantova, its surface had been carefully covered with felt to protect the wood. A gesture of care I appreciated deeply.

The structure is broader and more articulated, with double vises and large sliding drawers that extend its use across the entire surface. What was once a place of making becomes a place to inhabit, without losing its weight.
